I had an amazing time at this cosy, welcoming hostel. the eight-bed setup allowed for both socializing and finding quiet time alone. the outside area was great, and the spacious rooms had comfortable beds. the bathrooms were awesome, and the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. the hostel was always immaculate. Virgínia and Pedro, the owners, were absolute sweethearts and went above and beyond for their guests.

I felt truly spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.

If you're looking for a hostel right next to the beach, this might not be the closest option.

My recent stay at Castaway was absolutely wonderful. The owner, Virginia, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The hostel was very clean and cozy, with a small number of rooms, allowing for a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast provided, although simple, was a nice touch. I also appreciated the free amenities such as cereals and milk, as well as the option to have a new towel every day. The cozy yard provided a great space for bonding with other guests, and we ended up doing a lot of activities together. my experience at Castaway was fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Although if you're looking to surf, I have to mention that it's not very close to the beach. Additionally, if you're staying in the room downstairs, you may hear some noise from the kitchen in the morning.
